Offbeat Industry in Pittsburgh

In the heart of Pittsburgh, The Allegheny and The Mon meet up to form The Ohio River, resulting in a bizarre arrangement of streets and separation of neighbourhoods within the city. Recently, Offbeat Industry connected with Circa in “The ‘Burgh” to form a thrash-filled weekend that produced nothing short of joyous mayhem.
For a city that’s loaded with hills and bridges, it’s surprisingly home to a ton of wicked spots. The unique landscape results in banks-to-everything, countless ledges, and more stairs than larger cities in the country (literally). The Offbeat crew took every opportunity to venture out of the steep slopes of the north side, and roll through as many of the diverse skate-zones as possible – even squeezing in stops at Big Mama’s, J.R.’s, Rebels, and other popular attractions.
The footage in this video was shot in a week in the iron city. It’s a common claim that from atop any of the town’s peaks, the view of the cityscape below is truly remarkable.
